Food for thought.

So I have been there. I have been skinny, and fit. I used to weight 195lbs, and have a 4 pack on my stomach, be able to run for miles.

Now, I can't. I work all day, stress is high, and I can't even get to the gym anymore. But I did finally figure out how to lose weight. I think.

So I'll start how I figured this out. I was drinking my fifth soda for the day (DIET always). and I was i need to squeeze something really tight. I tried, and I couldn't. My hands, which have always been the strongest part of my body because of the sports I played, couldn't even fully close. I sat there, and was puzzled. "This is disturbing" I thought. So I thought about this for a while, and determined that it must be the soda. I haven't eaten anything horrible that day, or for the last few days, and I know soda has the ability to retain some water weight.

So here is the pivital moment. I decided to stop drinking Soda of any kind. Diet or regular(which i never had had anyways). My logic was this; my body needs oxygen. If I am drinking carbon dioxide, I am doing two things: making me need to burp more, and slowly sofocating my cells with CO2.


I weighed 278 lbs when I made this decision; 10 more then a year before. It has been 6 years since I weighed 195 lbs.
