so often times you hear, "avoid this" and "eat that".... well, why? if it gets you eating something healthy, is it worth the little bit of bad?...
I found some carrots with ranch to a total of 70 calories. Is that it? idk about you, but for a snack, i think the little bit of ranch is worth it if I get the carrots...
How about a 70 calorie for a green apple and a little caramel?... it is portioned, and I get health with bad...
Thoughts on whether they are good together, or if I should stick to the 'healthy only option'... doesn't seem right. seems more sustainable to have a little bit of sweet with a little bit of good.
its funny, I can have all the same type/color socks, uniform underwear, but food is tough. I can't just eat the same thing every day.... I wish I could though.

Diet Challenge
So I am contemplating...how much the value of diet helps....
now, my acid reflux has been a HUGE identity helper for my diet. its funny how doing stuff like watching that one thing can help. That being said, now I am trying to figure out my next thing. what is it that helps reduce weight without effort.
well, so now I am stuck. I want to get to the point where excersice isn't the reason for weight loss.... and I'm stuck on it.
my stress reduction has been huge. but despite that, my eating and weight hasn't improved. in fact, my sleep apnea has gotten worse, so now I am looking to try to shorten the amount I sleep so that when I am asleep it will be better....
thoughts thoughts thoughts... we'll see how this works out.
for those reading; things I've done for stress reduction:
Rented out my Condo. It is pricy, and a weight on me. I'm in a small room with less stuff. ALOT less stuff. good idea with the concept of living lighter with less stuff... here's a blog on a buddy from school who did this...
http://cultofless.com/
worth the read... he is free from worry of the loss of the things. it was amazing, and I definetely get it now... I'm down to a laptop, desktop, harddrive, tablet, clothes, and bed and stuff... its a short list which I may decide to take his lead and list...
Clothing consolidation. I HATE HATE HATE socks when they don't match. so my undergarments, and socks are now all perfectly uniform.
Computer at work now has Windows 7!!!!... so I went from a computer at work that could only use 3.2gigs of ram to that same computer with 12gb of ram available... I won't mention that I pegged the limits of the computer the same day I got the upgrade... but stress has dropped easily 50% across the board for ANY ONE who got upgraded.... its amazing.... yeah, happy relaxing
I'm working on adding [working out] into this to reduce stress, but for the instance of this blog, I tried not too at first, since I wanted to experiment the foods more.
I started another experiment.... I'll explain it later, but I think it might work.... we'll see...

Fun things to eat
So The Salad's from Cocsto... 280 calories, but I am pretty sure they are awful for you.... Anyone know?.... I mean it shows like 200 calories of fat, but it can't REALLLy be that bad for me can it?
oTHER NEWS, THE cOSTCO soup with barley... yeah.. its pretty bad........I definetly don't like it.
Also the Costco Santa Fe Chicken... really nasty. do not recommend.

So, been a long time
Well, I did amazing with my diet... amazingly avoiding chips/soda/etc was very easy....
So Experiment came again... if it was DIET soda, or not.... believe it or not, the Diet soda did do it...
my reflux has been OK with regular soda. It hasn't been amazing, but it wasn't bad.
Other news... I tried a stress reduction diet... aka, I just tried to reduce stress. This was greatly aided by a faster computer at work. Reducing stress has been nice nice nice.... but at the same time I took the chips restriction away...
I'm not convinced that the diet I started was a make or break, but I am going back to it since my reflux got pretty bad.
diet is still an improvement overall.... saw Costco has prepackaged salads... going to incorperate these into my diet more and see its impact....
